King Island Landcare Print Exchange
King Island Landcare Group is proud to invite printmakers to take part in the ‘Caring for the Land’ Print Exchange. This Exchange is open to all printmakers not only throughout Australia but worldwide. We encourage students, novice, emerging and established printmakers to participate.
If you’re on King Island and would like to participate in the exchange but may not have access to materials and equipment to do so, let us know so we can arrange a time to help you with what you need.
Public Art Display
The King Island Gallery invites artists and community members to express interest in displaying their artwork in public spaces. Providing opportunities to showcase local creativity in prominent community locations such as the hub, and airport.

Young Artist Workshop - Expression of Interest for Artist Instructor

The King Island Gallery is inviting artists, creatives, and community members to express their interest in sharing their knowledge and expertise, by leading and holding workshops.

PAST WORKSHOPS
Let your child’s imagination run wild in this playful mixed media workshop!
Young artists will explore colour, texture, collage, drawing, painting, and found materials as they create their own unique artworks mounted in a box frame to take home. Designed for children of all skill levels, this hands-on session encourages creativity, confidence, and creative problem-solving in a fun and supportive environment.
All materials will be provided, but children are encouraged to bring special items such as buttons, scraps of lace and ribbon, shells, and other interesting treasures to incorporate into their artwork.
